Our family has the privilege and blessing of being the "caretakers" of the former home of Elvis and Priscilla Presley at 845 W. Chino Canyon.  We think of ourselves as caretakers more than the owners because a treasure of this significance belongs to Elvis fans all over the world.   Although this home is our private residence, we feel it is our duty to share this property with all who come to visit and remember the spirit of Elvis.

On April 14th, 1970, Elvis and Priscilla Presley closed escrow on their Palm Springs desert dream home. Along with their two-year-old daughter, Lisa Marie, the Presley’s moved into the only property they ever owned in this internationally famous southern California city.

Although Elvis and Priscilla rented a smaller residence in Palm Springs for a short period of time in the late sixties and spent their first night of marriage in that leased property, the only home that bears the famous Presley name on a California Deed of Trust in Palm Springs is this Chino Canyon residence.

Today, this sprawling 5100 square foot mansion situated on nearly two prime desert acres located high up in a popular area of north Palm Springs, has been designated as an historic property. By law, the Presley home must be maintained as it was when Elvis himself first walked through the front door of this spectacular trophy estate.
